N-400 Check or money order

I have noticed that most people use checks to make payments for n-400 fees. Woyldb't it be faster to send money order ? Am just curious why people are sending checks !

I used check and my friend used money order. she just did not know she could use check thou. I did not use money order because I was lazy to get it from post office (plus, why should I pay the fee to USPS for buying the money order while I could just send the check to USCIS?). Additionally, it would give me an idea when the check would be cashed (agreed it with JoeF).
