Hello All,

My husband & I went for fingerprinting and the folks there said that our finger prints were not of good quality. There were criss cross lines on our fingers and according to them, FBI might reject these prints.

What are we to do? Thats the way the skin is on our fingers. The folks at the Alexandria finger printing office said that we might have to go back again in 30-90 days. Our fingerprints are not going to change!

Anybody has gone through this problem/issue. Any idea about timeframes? Thanks to anyone who can throw some light. As usual, the folks in the office we not enlightening!

Thanks!

Here is what user "amalsajdak" had to say about such an issue on the Dallas Timeline thread:

"Since I had my fingerprints rejected twice by the FBI, I had to provide a police background check. I had already sent them a copy, but I took one with me just in case they didn’t receive the one I sent in the mail. I also had to fill out some form that says that I haven’t committed any crime, etc…The officer wanted to see my social security card, but I did not have it with me. She said it was ok."
