I have filed for my N-400 application for Citizenship in Jun 2008 from Baltimore, Maryland and after my finger prints I have received my interview on January 20th 2009. When I went for my interview I have been send back because they have send me interview letter by error and officer is still working on my file that what I have been told.
In March 2009 I have moved to Arlington, Virginia because of internal work transfer. After couple of visit in Virginia office I have been heard the same think that my case is in review. Finally I have contacted my local congress man and right after that I have received an interview letter again in Sep 2009. I was very happy but again when I went on my interview I been told that your file is complete but we cannot proceed with the interview because USCIS have not yet received my background check and USCIS will resend me or call me for interview “That’s been told to me by Senior Immigration officer who were assign to my Case”. I have re-contacted the congressman but no luck same answer from him as well. Now it’s Dec 2009 and i have not heard any think from USCIS. What should I do?
I have filed for my wife on a green card in July 2007 and had couple of inquires but no luck on that. Still Pending.... Any Advice will be much appreciated.
