N-400 application

Hi
I am eligible for applying for my Citizenship. I am thinking of filing it myself instead of a help from any attorney.

Is this a good idea ? Do most folks file themselves ?

Also, do I have to attach passport copies along with N-400, it is not mentioned in the required documents list.

Anyone who did the process themsleves please reply.

A lot of the people in this forum have done it themselves. If you are doing it yourself, take some time, read a lot of the postings,
ask questions, research and do it. Its no big deal if you have
a straightforward application (minimum speeding tickets/arrests, no trip over 6 months etc..)

However if your case is a bit complicated, a few hundered dollars
may be well spent.
