N-400 Application form and saperation

Hi

I am in the process of filling my N-400 application. can i say separated instead of divorce as we are not divorce yet.

my GC is not a marriage based.

Since you are not yet divorced, it sounds like you should select "married" on the N-400. If the divorce becomes final prior to your interview, you can make the necessary updates when the IO runs through your application.
