Hi,
Soon I will file for N-400 based on 5 years of residency. As I went through the document check list, these are the following documents I have to submit with my N-400 app :
1) A photocopy of both sides of GC, 2) 2 color photographs, 3) A check or money order for the application & the fingerprinting fee
4) Proof of divorce decree ( I was married to a US citizen )

- Am I missing anything here?
- Do I need to prove my residency ( 3 months or 5 years ) at this stage? If so, how should I do that?
-Do I need to provide Tx documents for the last 5 yrs now?
- Can I write one check for 310 ( 260 + 50 ) to BCIS?
- On 10/1/03 I will complete my 5 yrs residency. What would be the best time frame ( should I apply 6/15/03 or 7/15/03 ) for me to apply?
I know these are very trivial questions, but hey, we all know how BCIS is. I just want to make sure I am doing everything right to the best of my knowledge & ability. Any suggestions, comments will be appreciated. -----Thanks----- Choyty
