Today, I got 2 IDENTICAL I-797C,Notice of Action which indicated that USCIS received my N-400 Application and had the 'Receipt with Exception'.
Here is the text from my notice (I-797 Notice of Action):
The above application has been received by our office and is in process, but has been noted with one or more of the following exception(s):
Missing Evidence(s) - your application was missing evidence(s) that you will need to provide at the time of your naturalization interview. You will be notified under separate notice of the necessary evidence(s) that you will be required to bring to your interview. Do not submit any evidence(s) by mail.
While I have read in this forum, that most of them get this 'Receipt with Exception', I am not sure why I got 2 IDENTICAL 'Receipt with Exception'. Does anybody has similar experience?
Could this be because USCIS by mistake sent "2 I-797C, Notice of Action" instead of sending the 'FingerPrinting Appointment' notice as one (1) of them? Both of them says 'Applicant Copy'. btw: I don't have a lawyer for my N-400 process.
I applied on the basis of 5 yrs LPR minus 90 days and sent more documents & supporting documents than what is required (especially including traffic tickets, fine paid, court receipts etc).
Has anybody got their 'Fingerprint Appointment' Notice along with their 'I-797C Notice of Action' OR is it always going to be sent later than the I-797C Notice of Action?
Thanks for the response in advance.
