I have been traveling to US regularly during past three years for various conferences and meetings. I am British national and don't need a visit visa, as I travel under visa waiver program. I am already engaged and getting married in July. Now, I have a conference to attend in August and want to visit with my wife. My wife is Pakistani national, so she needs visa to travel to US. Embassy here suggests to apply atleast three months prior to travel date. So, if I apply for my wife's visa after marriage, it's difficult to get it before conference date. Please suggest about following questions:

2. Should I apply for B1 or B2?
3. What documents she should have before interview?
4. Does any document related to my background and profile is going to help her in getting visa?
5. What if she gets interview call after we are married?
