My wife was pregnant while applying for I-485

Gurus,

When I applied for my I-485, my wife was pregnant. So during medicals, she was exempted from taking some vaccines. Even I was exempted since my wife was pregnant!!! My question is will I be asked to go for nedicals again before approval? Will I called for interview for this? How do INS handle such situations? Please respond.

There is a definite possibility that you may get an RFE with follow up on the medicals. Follow-up with the doctor with whom you had your medicals done.

My wife was also pregnant during our I485 application. I am still waiting for approval - And no RFE as yet

I underwent the same situation. The best bet is go to your immigration doctor and get all left over vacinnations done. THere is no harm. Make sure your doctor has form I-693 if not get one and keep it handy. If any RFE comes it is going to take one day worth of work. So get everything set and ready to go when INS says "GO.........."
