Sept.14, 2010 Los Angeles.
My wife & I went through our Citizenship 'Test & Interview' on Aug,03, 2010 in Los Angeles under two different officers. Both of us passed the English reading and writing tests and were 6/6 in the Civics questions. Both our cases were absolutely identical with 844 days out of US in 5 years. During my interview the officer requested me to submit "all the pages of my Passports (2)" before Sept.02, 2010 in Form WR 822. I sent the required document immediately through USPS Express mail. As per tracking info. my document was collected from the Post Office by a Homeland Securitry staff on Aug.06, 2010. My wife received her letter for attending the Oath taking ceremony on Aug. 24. It is about 13 days now since my wife received her letter but I have not received mine. As of date the Citizenship Case status shows "Testing & Interview" for both my wife and self. As a follow up from my side I wrote a letter to the officer who took my interview asking him if he had received the document requested by him. I have recently sought the help of our district Representative. Can I still hope to receive a letter from USCIS for attending Oath ceremony on Sept. 24 ? Or, for unknown reasons will my Oath ceremony be pushed off for some other date ? What else should I do ?
