1) What is the next VERY IMPORTANT step, and when does it need to be done exactly?

And,

2) Is she free to go to Colombia with just her Permanent Resident Card and her passport, or is there anything else that she is required to have to be able to do this?

:)

Thanks for all the information and support over the last few months.

She can travel without any issues...

Timmy,

I am glad the officer gave you the correct information regarding your wife's PR approval. Once again, congratulations on this important development in you life. I can't be more happier for you.... :)

Nothing further is required from your wife, she can travel to Columbia using her Columbian passport and greencard. She needs to keep the greencard with her at all times when she is travel out of the country, and she needs it to come back to the US. As you are probably aware, it is more like a permanent visa which she needs to show to border officers when she arrives at customs.

She is free to go to Columbia now... ;) I wish all is well with her family. Moreover, she can petition her daughter too... Do more research on USCIS website about how do you go about this process... :) Remember that she needs to come back to the US before the end of 6 months, so that she doesn't lose her continuous residence count towards her citizenship. More on this later...

Congratulations to you and your wife on this huge accomplishement! As others have stated, there is nothing else she needs to do other than her Cambodian passport and the green card when she travels.......now you can petition for her daughter :)......hope all is well with her family (especially her mum)

Once again Congratulations :D :) :)
