I went to VSC 2 days before the Public window closed.
After taking my details I was told to wait. After waiting for more than 2 hours I was told that the case is on hold and USCIS has requested further information ( they didn't disclose from whom ).Upon my persistent requests I was only told that the background checks are done.
This really surprised me as after my interview ( Boston in Nov'03) I was told by the officer that everything looks fine and they are just waiting for results of background check.
The case was in Boston from Sep '03 to Jun'04 .It got transferred back to VSC in June '04
I am not sure what VSC is trying to find now.
Any idea what it could be ?
