Finally the magic sound came out of my telephone: "This case has been
approved...". It seems NSC is a little bit pacing up.
Here is some detailes of my application procedure:
PD: 2/2001
RD: 4/13
ND: 5/02
LIN: 01-165-xxxxx
AP: July
1st EAD:July
FP: 3/14/02 (A late one and was scheduled different from my spouse\'s)
RFE for spouse: Apr. 8, received on 4/18, reply received by NSC on 5/22.
2nd EAD: RD: 4/18/02 AD: 6/3/02
AD: 6/10
(RFE is very vague. It asked for the LEGIBLE evidence of my spouse\'s
first entry of US. And other documents showing my spouse\'s legal status
during the stay in US. Our lawyer could not even understand what\'s the
emphasis of teh RFE is. On the safe side, the lawyer resent almost the the copies of the whole set documents!
My guess would be the red ink stamp on I-94 was very shallow and could
barely be seen on the copies. That\'s the only thing we can think of!)
(NSC made mistake on my 2nd EAD. The valid time was printed as "from
7/10/02 to 7/10/02". What an expensive card! One day is worth $100!
Anyway, we do not need to worry about this error anymore.)
This great site benifits not only me, but many many new immigrants and
visitors. Two thumbs up for this forum and all of the people who share
their experience and ideas.
Hope everybody can hear the magic sound as he wishes.
