Case approved help need please !

Both me and my wifes cases were approved on 21st June , but my wife went to india On April 23rd , her return ticket is for July 6th , she has Advance parole with her ? what will happen to her GC status ? if she enters USA using AP ? how can i proceed further ? any help is great .

If a person is not in the US when the adjustment application if adjudicated (gets approved), she/he should inform the immigration officer at the port of entry and seek deferred inspection. Preferably, the person should have a copy of the approval notice. Deferred inspection simply means that the officer will allow the alien to complete stamping and then admit her/him as a permanent resident. If a person were to use non-immigrant status (for example H-1B or H-4), then this status could invalidate the permanent resident status as it happened later in time.

If the I-485 is not approved when she enters the US: She shouldn\'t enter the US using her H4 visa if the visa stamp is expired. Using AP would not be a problem if the case has not been approved.
