My turn now, finally!!

Guys,

Finally it\'s my turn to say "I am done with this lousy, lousy, painful process". I am one of those unlucky EB2 guys, who had to wait for almost 4 years for the entire process, delayed because of regular labor process.

Though I am not really excited now, it does make a difference when I think of **security**. I don\'t have a problem with my job, but the very feeling that I am not bonded any more, gives me PEACE.

Here are my details:

Service Center: VSC
Country: India
Category: EB2
Priority date: May 25, 1997
I-140 Filing: May, 1999
I-485 Receipt date: December, 15 2000
I-485 Notice date: December, 30 2000
Finger Print date: March, 3 2001 at Newark, NJ
Date of approval: April, 16 2001

I received my courtesy copy. My lawyer confirmed a few minutes ago that she received my Original copy. Will go with the original copy to Newark, NJ for stamping. My friends, who had experience, advised me that Newark office asks for the Original copy, not the courtesy copy.

My case was a straight forward one - no queries, no RFEs, yet it took crazy FOUR years!!

Will check the forum for any questions on my case for the next one week. I have been a silent spectator of this wonderful forum for the past one year. Thanks to Rajiv, et al., for giving us an opportunity to share our feelings. This site is the best barometer for approval predictions!! Thanks to guys like Myladoor.

GOOD LUCK MY FRIENDS...Nag in there for your turn...MAY GOD BLESS YOU!!

I posted a few minutes ago in the general I-485 Issues forum. Now posting here. Apologies for the spam.

Regards
JayT
