after I got the stamp in April I went to my homeland, Uruguay in the way back the plane got into a problem; the pilot landed in Miami (we were going to NY) and when I got into Immigration with my wife the officer said , Ha you got the stamp !!, he took care of my wife and press a button a red light came up overhead and another lady took me to a small room. There two officers were holding 12 tourists with tough questions, I said to my wife go get the luggage and wish me good luck, she a USA citizen got into problems trying to get out the room. I was thinking about the flight and after 10 minutes the lady with the computer call me, she said why I did not received the card, I said they told me in Hartford I can flight with stamp, i look at the window and i saw his monitor screen and my green card was there!!
my picture, fingerprint name, she ask me how many days i was outside, I said 11 days , she stamp the passport and wrote LPR. Today when i got all my mail I found the card 
from Vermont and two welcome letter.
