* September 13th 2006 - My CP interview
I had my CP Interview at the American Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya on September 13th 2006. I wasn't asked any questions!!! The Consular officer just looked through my documents and told me she would require one more document before giving me a visa - A Police certificate from the Indian Embassy. ( I spent some years in India as an undergraduate student ) The Consular officer gave me a letter to take to the Indian Embassy. I got the Indian Police certificate without any problems. It was ready for pickup the next day.
I went back to the American Embassy today and presented the Indian Police certificate.
I'm all set now. My stamped passport will be ready for collection in 10 days.
