It looks like my Green card is on the corner(RD 06/18/01),
I couldn\'t stop myself to check AVM these days, After 6 years fighting
for final exam, homework, part-time job, resume. interview ......
We finally see another mileage stone(Could be the biggest one).

I can remember exactly how I convinced the visa officer when I applied
for the F1 visa in Beijing and how I excited when I got the visa after
3 rejections in 2 weeks.

I can remember how bright the sky was when I got my first offer, I took
it without any hesitation since my account is barely keeping the min.

I can remember how hard it was when I packed everything in a brown
box and force to leave the company in 10 minutes. In 1999, when you
working as H1B1, you have to find another company sponsor your H1 in
2 weeks or you have to leave this country WITH YOUR FAMILY. thanks to
the God, I had all new H1 paper works ready in a late Friday afternoon
and send it to Fed ex in Philly\'s internation airport.

I tried to keep myself don\'t thinking about labour certification, I140,
I485 etc. Just close my eyes and concertrate my work until recently I found MY TIME IS ABOUT COMING!

We are making a balance

"There is no fairness in the universe" are most important words Ric has said. There is absolutely no fairness since the creation of this world, whoever you are. For us guys everything would be harder as you have well noticed.

 It is pain that we are longing for the GC while we are far away from our country, where we were born and nourished. All of us know this country is not what we should belong to, while we desperately look forward to any progress toward to the GC approval.

 We guys somehow like BALANCES: on one side is our own country that cultually is what we prefer, but it has so many flaws that we were making every effort to leave it; on the other side is where the GCs lie, it has the best systems for people to live in but we really know it is very hard for us to get involved in. We are trying to reach another side with our hands while our feet are at one side.

 This balance can never reach a balance until we put both our hands and feet at the same side.
