My status expiry - effect on parents B1 !! please help

My H1B status and my H1 VISA (in passport) expire on May 15' 06. My company applied for extension on Dec 28' 05 and I'm still waiting for the extension approval. The problem is --- my parents are going to chennai consulate for B1 interview on March 20' 06. Will this be an issue in getting their VISA approval as I'll be having less than 2 months H1 validity as of their interview date.

please help with any suggestions and experiences.

Im also in the same condition; H1 visa expired + extension is applied and is pending. and parents will probly go to interview at chennai before my approval arrives.

im plan ning to submit all the docs + current extensions Receipt

How did yours go?did ur parents get the visa?
