Hi All,
Let me follow up my case after I got the approval email on Jan/7/2005.
Around Jan/11/2005, I got the copy of my I-485 approval notice, the formal one was sent to my attorney.
Then I scheduled my stamping date on Jan/31st 8:00 AM by infopass.
I arrived there around 8:15, lots of people were in line alrady, and then I follow the line to one window/counter, did finger print and get a form (relating to Green Card, I forgot the form name), and a number, then the officer told me to sit in the hall until the number was called, I waited more than one hour when my number was called, and I went to the counter, the officer in this counter just asked for my passport, I-485 approval notice, two photoes (note: better put your A number on the back), and took back my I-94, AP; and she let me wait again since she needs do some security check, and 30 minutes later, she called my number again, gave my passport with the I-551 stamped, and said everything is fine for me, just wait for the plastic card.
That's all. Totally took me around 3 hours.
My case:
