my SJC iEAD experience today

we went to SJC INS office today for the interim EAD.
Actually we were more interested in getting that for my wife but since it was not 90 days after the RD, they asked us to come back. They were ready to give me the iEAD ( as i had applied earlier and its been more than 90 days). We then decided to go back when its past 90 days for my wife and apply for both...

thought would just let you know guys that they are still giving same day EAD as confirmed by other posts too..and it might be tough to get it before 90 days unless you are lucky ;-)

we reached at 7.05 there and were peacefully in..

ours was fresh EAD and not renewal.
 
Looks like my wife was really lucky.. she applied for EAD only in Nov 2nd week and they gave her iEAD at San Jose.. I guess it depends on the discretion of the INS officer.. my EAD was filed 90 days +
 
we went there today again as it was now more than 90 days for both of us..and we got the iEAD cards for both of us..no problems at all in that...
