Hi everyone!
Many peoples in forum asked me about my second letter and sending documents via UPS.
well, I think it is a unic system in US embassy in Ankara. They call it "pre-appointment screening system". They asked me to send some copies ( certified copies ofcours) and ...! You know... I think it's better to write all of them here!!!
1-Full photocopy of passport
2-one certified copy of last diploma
3-one certified copy of the birth certificate of each person named in the application
4-one certified copy of marriage certificate ( full copies of all pages)
5-one certified copy of divorce decree or death certificate
6-financial documents
7-police detificate required for applicants 16 years old and older
8-court and prison records
9-contact information ( there is a form in the packet for this)
10-Translation: All documents not in English must be accompanied by a certified translation.
11-photos:two un-retouched and... photos for all apllicants
AND...! what make me crazy is this: All this documents must be sent via United Parcel Service (UPS) to the American Embassy in Ankara and there are no other alternative for submitting document, and as I wrote previously, there is no UPS office in my country Iran.( I hate such political games!) and worst of all ammerican embassy is closed till 4th Dec! and they didn't reply my Email.
