OK, hope this will save some pain for you guys.
1. Seattle INS doesn\'t do the same day service, Period.
2. To apply for EAD at Seattle INS local office, you don\'t need photo, nor blue signature card. Period.
3. You don\'t need to get there at 5:30 and wait in dark, Period.(I learned this the hard way)
4. things you do need: a) I765 form. b) copy of 485 receipt, c) I94 copy d)$100 check or money order.
5. don\'t bother to wait in the line, go there at about 9:00 am, give your documents to the INS guy at receiption(don\'t go there before 8:00, otherwise the building guard instead of the INS guy will give you wrong information), he will keep the stuff you have(see #4)and you are done. no photo, not even passport or any id are needed.
6. I was told the process takes about 1 month, they will send you notice and appointment, you will take picture there because I saw the counter that handles EAD has carmera.
That\'s it.
