My receipt number begans with the letters MSC. I've never seen these letters for a receipt number before. I also tried to view my case online but the receipt number wouldn't go through. Does it mean that I have to call the BCIS ?? Or what's the problem ? Is there a way to view the case status with the alien number ?

Hey,

MSC is normal for the service center, all my receipt number are like that, and they're fine. If the receipt number doesn't go through online, wait a couple of days and try again, it's possible they're still not in the system. If you keep having this problem, call the USCIS and let them know.

---Apart from 4 service center, USCIS has another center, normally known as National Benifit Center, located in MO (missouri). I would believe since you have your receipt number starts with MSC, thats where your file is now.
