My question for renew RTD

Dear all,
I got my RTD last year and will be expired this August. I know I can download I-131 form to renew it but I don't know if I should send my old RTD with this form or I just send 2 pictures, asylum approve letter and a check? Thank you!
 
I had to send mine RTD with the application. My lawyer submitted my application. This is my 4th RTD and I had to do it for each one. Make sure you make a copy of the first page and any pages that were stamped, just in case ... Hope this helps.

There is the same discussion on previous tread. I'm not really sure about sending the actual RTD or not but there are some member who only photocopy and send in with the new application.

Do you mean that you make copies and send them with the other documents? And keep the original with you?

Because I have to travel on November and on January, bu my RTD expires on December, if I send the original, I will not have an RTD to travel on November.

Anyone has sent copies with the renewal application??
Is the application the same form as in the first one? Form I-131?

hi, i sent my copy with the application last time, and i did copy the whole thing (every page) just in case.

I have a question:
Does anyone extend visa before? i need to extend my canadian visa, but my Travel Document will expired in 4 months!!, is it safe to extend it? or i have to get a new RTD?
