My priority date

hey there,

finally after seven years, my time has arrived. I live in south america and I have a i-130 that it's priority date is due to DEC26, 2005 and currently is DEC01, 2005. Should I go ahead with my green card procedure??

Im over 21, my dad is US Citizen and Im in one of those countries that belong to the "All Charge-ability Areas Except Those Listed" list.

Do I have to wait to january to start all the paperwork or can I do it now? is it current or will it be in january being DEC-26?

The published cutoff date is December 1, 2005. For you to file paperwork for the final stage, your priority date must be BEFORE the cutoff date. Your priority date of December 26, 2005 is after the cutoff date, so your priority date is NOT current and you can't file the papers yet.

so, if next month the proirity date becomes something like JAN06 that will make my date (DEC2605) available to send my papers?
