Folks,
I got my GC through CP and received my plastic card a couple of days ago. I have a very long name which goes something like ABC DEF GHI JKL MNO where ABC is my last name, MNO is my first name and all others are my middle names. So far, in the US, I have simply gone by the name of MNO ABC. There is no mention of any of my middle names in any of my documents such as driver\'s license, SSN card, employment documents, property documents etc. However, after my CP, my immigrant visa was issued with my full name which reads ABC DEF GHI JKL MNO. When I got the plastic card, I was horrified to note that they printed my name on the card as ABC DEF G. They left out the rest of my name due to space limitations. The first name that I have been using so far in the US, which is MNO, does not appear anywhere on the card.
Is this a cause for concern? I intend to continue to use MNO as my first name in the future also. Should I apply for a new card requesting the INS to put the correct first name or is it OK to leave it as it exists now? Will I face any problems in the future if I don\'t get it changed? I would appreciate any suggestions in this regard. Thanks.
