My name check was also done a couple of days ago.

My answer.
1) Go to www.house.gov, type in a zip for where you live or where you work to search for a congressman within that area. The congressman I talked to is not really helpful, but it maybe case by case, somebody said congressman is more helpful then senator on name check inquiry.
2) I just used google to search for senator from Minnesota, I found one, Norm Coleman, then my case was assigned to a case worker, she checked with USCIS first, then with FBI. She just called me and told me my name check was cleared, I didn't receive any email from her.
3) To check name check status yourself, send an email to FBINNCP@ic.fbi.gov with your name, date of birth, A# and returning email address, ths is taking longer and longer. It took them half year to respond my email sent in this January.
