Hi all,

My mother is going for an interview for visitor's visa on 16th June.

I sent her all the papers in March including my paystub, incometax returns, employment letter etc.

Do I have to send all the latest documents again as there is a gap of 3 months since she took the appointment.

Secondly, can anybody tell which questions are generally asked in the interview and what should be the answers so that chances of rejections are less. My mother is currently staying alone in India and all her children are outside India. She does not have any business or anything. Her US visa has got rejected twice about 2.5 years back.

In such circumstances, what should she tell in the interview?

I am on a greencard.

Pl. help.

Thanks in Adv.

Anyone who applies for the second time (after first reject) must demonstrate new evidence and/or change of circumstances to justify reconsideration. The rejected person should take family financial documents to prove financial assets in home country and also evidence of a permanent home to which the person will return after completion of intended journey.

Hi,

Her visa was rejected 3 years back. I am talking about now. I sent her all docs 2 months back assuming that she would get appt.date in next few days but she got it after 3 months. So, should I re-send all the docs?

Thanks anyways,

There is no need to resend papers even if it takes 3 more months as there is a long waiting time at most US Consulates in India due to seasonal rush.
