I was told by my friend about this great forum. I just registered and this is my first post here 
I submitted my NIW-based I40/485 concurrently in July, 2004 to TSC. Recently my lawyer got some problems ---- BCIS or INS is inspecting the law firm and all the immigration cases during 1998-2000 period. My lawyer told me this was just like a background check happened to visa applications because of sensitive major, the business is still going on. I am a little worried, because I never heard such checking by INS.
Do you guys hear such INS checking before? Will this affect my case? Thanks a lot for your response.
