My lastname was misspelled in my AP. Is this a problem?

Local INS is the option

You can go to Local INS to FIX it. I got mine fixed. You need to be little pushy with the officer to get it done. Have a valid reason just in case they ask....
 
Errors on AP

I have my address mis-spelt on my AP. (There are very few data elements in the document: Full name, Place of birth- normally left blank by INS, Country of birth, date of birth and address...)

This is what my attorney had to say:
"... As long as your name and date and place of birth are correct, don’t worry about the address as that is not material since that application is not based on your address, but is rather an identity document..."

My suggestion is to get the item clarified by the attorney and print, save and carry the response when you travel.

Just as a follow-up, has anyone travelled on an AP with incorrect data (like mis-spelt Name or Address) and re-entered U.S. successfully after 09/11? Any notes/ suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
