My job is in danger..Can anybody give me some advice...

My Company Sponsored my NIW and I am still waiting for I-140 approval.

Now my question is:
1. By GOD's grace my I140 gets approved can I work in another company using AC21
2.Do I have to only work in a field or work for which NIW is passed like criminal investigation, being a programmer can I work in same programming language but in different field like in a hitech company or any other software development shop.
3. WHat are the pros and cons

Any help would be appreciated.

I wish things turned out in the place I am but looks like it is getting worst.
 
Well to my best knowledge ........NIW technically need not have to be sponsered by company. If you mean they paid the money/expenses ...well then its good. Now if your I-140 gets approved then again technically you can leave employer after 6 months of I-140 approval to join new job and yes requirements says you need similar kind a job.

What do you mean by "need similar kind a job."

Does it mean similar to my current title like Senior Programmer(or be working in computers using same tools) or does it have to be in the same field like "criminal justice"
