We have an appointment at 9.30 am at Baltimore Office. We arrived at the Fallon Building around 9.15am. We go through the security guards and he asked do you have any weapons and such...
when the guard ask you the question, make sure said no! ..

We go into the waiting room hand in our appointment letter. About 10 min later, we were called by a lady to her room.

We swear to tell the truth and such. Then we sat down. She proceed to ask for our ID, my passport, my I94. She go ahead and ask my name, my son birthdate, address and when the last i came into usa. She then asked my wife what's my birthday and where i work. Then she ask to see any supporting documents and I brought out a stack to show her. I showed her a couple and she said ok it's enough evidence. Then see took my I-94 and make copy of our licenses and my son birthday certificate. She took a picture of us. Then she said we are done here. We are in there for like 5min!...she said she going to send it for approval and will get somehting in the mail

Timeline at the building:
Going through the security and gate : 5 min
Use the bathroom (both of us) : 5 min or so
Hand in the notice to the person and hang around in the waiting room: 10min
Went in for interview and out : 5min
walk out the building to parking lot : 20 min

I sent mine in on 4/27/07 (I130, AOS) and I send my EAD on 5/24/07. I NOA about a week later. I went for biometric on 5/15/07 (AOS) and 6/2/07 (ead). I received my ead on 7/18/07. I received my interview notice on 7/24/07 for 9/20/07 today.

Do they give you a receipt or the notice of interview letter back after the whole interview?
