My lawyer sent in my application on jan 25 and my interview was april 25.
The interview was over in 5mins.The guy just asked me my birthday and if i was a commie,terrorist,nazi or if i did drugs???He asked my wife what her birthday was.
He asked for some bills in our name.I only had the car insurance and 2 other bills that were in my name only.I offered him photos and birthday cards but he didnt want them!!
He seemed like he was uninterested.
It was over very fast.My lawyer and me were surprised.I had been so nervous about this whole process.The officer told me name check takes time and that i can expect gc within 4-6 months.
BTW,my wifes father was the co sponsor-for the financial aspect.
Anyway,i hope i get it sooner than 6 months because i wanted to travel this summer.Since i am an overstay i think the advance parole permit i got is useless since they might deny me re entry.
