My attorney received my I-589 application was mailed back USCIS AFTER 7 WEEKS due to not including sufficient copies.
This is another new sick joke that USCIS is playing. My attorney included sufficient copies and two other cases that she filed earlier than me were accepted. They were prepared exactly the same way as my own I-589 package. My lawyer says that she's seeing this trend of ridiculous rejections becoming prevalent and they have only one objective to do this: Forcing the applicants to lose 1-year-deadline eligibility. Fortunately, that does not apply to me. Be careful though.
I will refile next week and will include 10 copies of every document.
