My case & my wife cases have been approved on 09/13/2004.
I received mail on 9/13/2004 Monday morning with the message " RFE issued & mailed on 09/11/2004". And on the same day evening received another mail with the message "Your case has been approved and mailed on 09/13/2004".
Then onwards, online status changed to the Approved Message.
So I was waiting for written communication from USCIS. And I received my approval letter on 09/18/2004. I went for stamping in Saint Louis USCIS Service office and got it stamped yesterday 9/23/2004. Submitted all EADs, APs, I-94 card and 2 PP Size photos. Hope their won’t be any problem because I forgot to print Name & A# on the back of the photos yesterday.
Waiting for cards.

Faxed letter to USCIS to expedite I-485 before the expiry of first FP in 06/2004.
FP2: 08/13/2004.
