Hello,
I just called the Vermont Service Center and found out that my I-485 has been approved.
My case details:
PD: August 10, 1998.
I485 RD: December 15, 1999.
I485 ND: January 7, 2000.
Finger Prints: September 26, 2000.
Case approved per AVM: March 24, 2001.
Case number: EAC-00-070-5XXXX.
Country: other.
I used to be an active member on the H-1B discussion group a while back. I became inactive (just a reader) when this board changed its policy and requested every "poster" to be a registered member. I did not want to be a registered user. I think that the registration policy is a good choice. It eliminates many unwanted and bad messages.
Hasanali, Hang in there, your turn is coming. I used to see your posts. We have "approximately similar" RD and ND dates.
Folks, I expected VSC to transfer my file to the local INS office because I had to appear once in court. To my surprise, that did not happen. I was not guilty.
I have not received any approval letter from the INS. Hopefully, the Answering Voice machine is right and correct.
If you had any question please post. Thank you very much for the people who take care of this site. It is and has been a great help.
Thank You,
Anar
