My I-140 got amended from EB2 to EB3, what happens to my I-485?

I filed for I-140/485 back in Jan 25, 2006 based on EB2 and got AP and EAD in March 06, then my I-140 just got amended to EB3. As you all know EB3 is affected badly by retrogression, and you can't file your I-485 until a visa number is available. But I have my I-485 filed based on an EB2 that later got amended to EB3. The question now is: what happens to my I-485, AP, EAD?

I need to travel this summer using my AP, but I am not sure what I should do.
I hope someone out there has an honest answer for me.

They didn't send me why they found the evidence they asked for is insufficient. Anyways, my LC had BS+3 or MS+1. They just go by the years because they live and work on a farm. I have two people reporting to me, one of them, his position requires MS. Duh....
