My I-140 cleared BUT!

Has anybody been through this!!!!?

My I-140/I-485 were denied a few months ago and this caused my wife's I-485 application to be denied too plus our pending EAD and AP applications.

My lawyer successfully appealed and my I-140 and I-485 cases were reopened, BUT!!!!

Today I got an email from my lawyer that he learned from NSC that out EAD and AP applications were no longer valid and that they needed to be refiled PLUS!!!! my wife's I-485 application was not reopened and that they were adviced to refile again my wife's I-485!!!......

Does anybody have any advice? Is there any way to 'fight' this injustice?

also, this is a lesson to keep close tabs on our lawyers. In this process, nothing can be taken for granted. The lawyers dont care about us either. They would be just as happy doing half the work if they could get away with it.
