Hi,
I am on H4 visa with my husband who is on H1B. Actually we both want to start study in US from Spring Quarter.We got offer letter also from different universities. Now we both want to apply for F1 so I have some question regarding it.
1) If we apply for F1 from our different university from US and if it takes time, can we start our study during this period or we should wait untill getting F1 visa.
2)In processing how much time will it take?
3) Should we go Maxico/Canada for stamp because we both want to start our study from March and we have only 1 month 15 days left.
4)In this case if one of us gets F1 and one is rejected then can second person come back again on old visa status.
5) If he gets F1 visa soon than me so will I have any problem? if my visa is taking long time.Means If I apply for F1 , will I be on H4 untill my status doesn't change?
Please give me your reply ASAP. I am in very big trouble what should we do.We are confused.
