My horrific I90 renewal experience

Finally after 18 grueling and painful months, INS finally sent me an approval letter last week and card has been ordered and in production now.

It's amazing how renewing 10year card can take this long. INS actually lost my efile for 11 months and forgot about until I wrote them about the status of my application. Infopass is a waste of time unless you want to get your card or passport stamped.

My lesson from this experience is to never to call NBC over and over again, just write them directly and wait.

I hope no one have to wait long as I did to renew their GC.

INS has to be the one of the worst ran department in U.S. Governement.

Re: INS officers and office workers

Also,

I forgot to mention, why do they talk to us and treat us like second class citizens? They are rude and almost everyone of them have very nasty attitude towards us immigrants. We paid same amount of taxes as the citizens but treatment we receive is like if we are nothing but aggrevation to them.

We should find a way to make a formal complaint against INS.
