This is my 2nd post. My J-1 hardship waiver has been pending for more than 2 yrs. The DOS has sent their favorable recommendation more than a year ago. Now today I got a letter from USCIS in response to my inquiries that my file has been sent to the local Suboffice around a year ago. Does this make sense? Any recommendations how to follow-up on this. I have already sent a letter to the Suboffice, but kinda loosing patience here.
