My H-1 expires before i finish my fellowship

hello guys,
I did my residency and am going to do a research for a year before I start my fellowship starting july 2006.My fellowship completes on june 2009 .THe problem is that my H1 expires on june 2008.I was wondering if anybody has any suggestion what I could do overcome this problem.

If you have a lot of publications, You can file for a self-sponsored I-140 (EB1-EA)+I-485 now. If it gets approved, you will have a gc in a year or so.

You can also find an employer who will file labor certification based on your already achieved qualifications. While this is being processed you can continue on with your research and fellowship.
