Congrats for the approval. Now you have to bring your wife on H1 visa. What are you planning to do? Which is your service center and what are the dates?

Hi

Hi Tammy2,
Thank you very much. My Service center is Texas Service center.

Congratulations sank.
I guess you must be having mixed emotions now.
Let me know what options you are exploring to bring ur future wife here.
Is she eligible to qualify for an H1?

Sank,

Ur case appears to be a positive anomoly in TSC. Aren't they really behind, still processing 2001 etc..? Ur ND of Oct 2002 being approved is quite a news..

Goodluck for getting ur wife here.

Any shortest way of Entering US

Hi EAD 2003,
Yes . you are right. I am having mixed emotions.
She is a Bsc degree(Zoology). Not a techincal degree.

Can she visit US on visitors Visa. How long can she stay in US on that visa.
I feel not to register marriage after formal marriage.

If any gurus knows shortest way of bringing her in without waiting for long years. if she can stay in US for 4 to 5 months & then she can go back to india & come after few months. It is ok. Any way ??

What abt visiting US through Canada. IS it possible. Canadian Visitor's Visa is
more relaxed than US visitor's visa??. if i start my canadian GC processing, will that be helpful??

Is it possible to get student visa(bcoz she is not technical degree holder).
Any idea is welcome.

if she tries to get US visitor visa, who should sponser for that visa(myself ??)

Thanks
sank

Sank,
Sorry to dissapoint but u are in a tough spot. The only way I see her coming to the US is on a student visa. Do some research on that. If this doesn't work out, try Canada for a student visa. (as the saying goes- people who can't find their way to the US , find their way to Canada)
Given her qualifications- H1 can be ruled out.
Forget about visitor visa to US or Canada. No chance here. Getting a visitor visa to US/Canada is tough for a single young person as he/she is always viewed as a potential immigrant.
Entering the US thru Canada is again a no-no as now even Canadian permanent residents need a visa to enter the US which was not the case sometime back.
Good luck.

V-visa

Hi EAD2003,
What is happening with V- visa. Any changes in its rule.
Thanks
sank

This sounds tricky.

I believe the rule is a stay of no more than 6 months within a 12 month period. If you plan on getting a GC for your spouse, she can't simultaneously be on F visa as that is not a dual intent visa. Best deal is find a job for her.
