my gc stamp on passport does not have EAC # .


WILL THIS CAUSE PROBLEMS

OR

AFTER GETTING THE PLASTIC CARD , THIS WILL BECOME IMMATERIAL

is this something person dependent out there at BCIS/UC... / INS

Probably an overlook, but it doesn't matter, if you have A# on passport.
 
What do we check against?

After the PP has been stamped, what # do you use to follow progress towards the actual cards being mailed to you? Is it still the old 485 EAC # which will give an update on the USCIS website or do you use some new # to get the update?
 
EAC# has to do with your receipt notice to check the status of your plastic card. EAC is used for Vermont Service Center
