Guys,

One of my friend filed I-485 in Jan 2002. He got laid off on July 2002. After nearly 3 months he got a job with EMP-B this month which is just 1 mile from his home (very lucky chap). This is a contract position for 6 months. Now, He is getting another full time offer from EMP-C (direct client) for a federal govt project which might go for years I believe.

If he gets an RFE, what is his situation? I know he should produce termination letter from EMP-A. Does he needs to get employment/termination letter EMP-B and employment letter from EMP-C (or) just termination letter from EMP-A and employment letter from EMP-C is sufficient??? Guru's please clarify.....

Is this the same friend who said that there was going to be parallel processing of Oct, Nov & Dec cases after the audit?

Just venting my frustration...
 
Hello

Nope...He is a different guy. But Iam sure definitely INS will finish of with Nov, Dec cases before end of this year. They may go for parallel (Nov and Dec) that's what I Guess. I heard from murthy now-a-days the processing time is 12-13 months and it may decrease as the number of cases for nov & dec is less compared to the last 3 months.

Let's wait & watch :)

I sometimes dont get time to visit this forum as my new job keeps me busy.
Regarding your friend, I think that he would definitely need to provide termination letter from company A since it applied for his 485 and the employment letter from company C if he plans to join it.
I dont think he needs to inform INS about it till he gets RFE as he has already completed 6 months after filing 485.
One of my friends did the same quit company A and joined company B, did not inform INS and got RFE.
He just provided termination letter from company A and employment letter from company B and was approved 10 days later.
These are just my thoughts and he should contact a lawyer for legal advice. :)
