My friend sponsor me. But he is married and file a joint-tax-return. does he and his wife need to file I-864? or Can him file it just himself alone. Please reply I will be waiting for your all your reply.

I suspect there is a big confusion here. No friend can sponsor a friend for immigration purposes. He's married and and he and wife will file I-864 for you? You are in for a nasty rejection from USCIS and bring into question your immigration status, especially if you are in violation of immigration laws with your visa status.

yes a friend can sponsor him, the friend would need to file a I864 and the wife a I864A, but if he earn enough over the poverty line then the wife wont need to file I864a, but your petitioner will still need to file I864

I know right, I think this guys is confused doesnt know anything about immigration laws and got mistaken between I864/I485
