I filed an I140 NIW during 9/2002. Based on that, I filed an I485 during 5/03.
I did an FP based on this I485 during 7/03.
I also filed for an I140 CP during 9/03 and got it approvied in 9/04.
I filed for an I485 based on this I140 during 4/04.
Interestingly, I got an RFE during 9/04 for my 1st I140 NIW and BCIS had
asked for questions and they also mentioned that they could see in their
files that an I140 had been filed on my behalf and had already been approved
by them and were wondering if I should cancel the NIW?
I sent a mail a couple of weeks ago to cancel my NIW. I know that the
I485 petition filed for the NIW would get cancelled. I was just wondering
what could happen to my FP, so today I located the phone # for FBI (thanks
to you folks) and asked them if they could see any fingerprint for my alien #
(located on the I485 receipt) and guess what? They have my fingerprint
done already during 7/03 and they have sent the FP to TSC by then.
My question to experts/attorneys is that, will I be seeing my case going faster
since my FP process is already done via an earlier I485?
