My FP results

I just hung up with talking to FBI about the status of my fingerprints. She told me that my FP results were sent to USCIS the same day (08/17/04) when I took my FP. Web-site never got updated that USCIS has receieved the results of my FP. I guess my IO is just a lazy fat ass who never got around updating my status...... :rolleyes:

I have the same problem. Could you tell me what phone number you called? Let me try and let you know the result. I think after I call FBI, I will call CIS for why or details. Thanks

You can call this number,
304-625-2000
Have your Alien number handy when you call them. they can look it up in few seconds and tell you the status of your finger prints status.
I'm not going to call USCIS because I know they will tell me that the adjudiacting officer has got around updating the web-site. It happens in a lot of cases.

Thank you for your information. I will call FBI when I get my Alien number on hand.

But I called CIS two times about the pending in last one year. First call occured 3 month after the pending notification. A lady told me my case was under FBI fingerprint background checks, that is why my fingerprint is pending review. I asked her how long it would take. She told me it was in any longer time, but hopefully it would be finished in 6 months. However after 10 months passed, it iwas still pending. I called CIS again regarding the pending, and a gemtleman got to me. He told me my case was still on FBI checks. But he let me do nothing but waiting. I told him I was worrying about RFI. Maybe the pending will delay the further letter from CIS. He said you need not worry about that; if it is your turn for adjusting, CIS will ask FBI for the checking result. Finally he asked me "do I answer your question?". I said: "No!". I asked him that if CIS ask for the check result and the FBI refuse to give the result because of unknown reasons, what does the CIS will do for my case? He said "your case probably will be delayed".

So anyway I will let you my calling results. Thanks again!!
 
i called fbi today and lady told me my FP results were send to cis on same day.but cis never changed my status .
