...at the south mumbai center was a smooth process.

Documents:
Passport, I-129 H supplement, I-797 original
Letter that I am currently employed
Letter that I am on leave
DS156, DS157,
demand draft and photo

That\'s all. In fact, they wouldn\'t take my education credentials, paystub, other documents on my explicitly questioning the dropbox guys.

The process couldn\'t be smoother.

One piece of advice for Ex-mumbaiites (F1->H1):
Unless you want to visit Mexico or Canada with the intent of actually touring those countries, go to Mumbai!! The process is very smooth. Also, one of my friends was successful with his F1->H1 from the same place a week later.

No problem with reentry via SFO either.

Congrats!!!

Shidarth,

That's a good news.

I am travelling to Mumabi next week, also will be getting my 7th H1B visa re-validated. I have never been to any Consulate in India, My first H1 was stampped in Singapore (1997), second in US (Mar 2003) and thrid in US as well(Jan2003).

Will they have any probelms as I have never been to Consulate in India?

Also where did you give your application in Mumbai? Also will they ask for my educational certificates, Pay-stubbs, W2, Company's photos, etc...

Please share your expereince in detail.

Thanks
